August 5 DB endpoint incident update from Customer Support

Resolved
On August 5 at 1:45 PM UTC, a platform incident resulted in data loss for some non-production environments on a single database endpoint. The incident was resolved at 12:03 PM UTC once database servers were redeployed to impacted environments and customers were able to restore databases from the dashboard.

Backups were not restored automatically. If your site was impacted, you’ll need to restore your environment from a backup or by cloning the database from another environment. Please contact Support if you’re unsure if your site was affected, or for further guidance on steps you need to take to move forward.

Our Engineering team will release a post-mortem within 5 days which will include more detailed information describing the cause of the incident and the steps we’ll take to ensure this does not happen again.
